Design competition at 3D Print Lyon

At the 3D Print Lyon trade show on October 4 and 5, Cults will be partnering a 3D modeling competition: the Designathon. Organized by F3DF, la Formation 3D en and Autodesk , the event will feature a workshop and the Designathon, a 3D design and conception competition. On October 4, we'll be offering training on Fusion 360, the latest generation of3D* CAD software. Thanks to these free workshops led by certified trainers, you'll be able to master the basics of the software. Come to Stand F1 to take part in the 2 sessions: morning or afternoon, 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm. Just bring your own computer and install Fusion beforehand. You can for these free workshops here.

The following day will see the Designathon competition on the theme of Lyon's Fête des Lumières. The challenge of the Designathon is to create and design a 3D-printed luminaire, based on a kit consisting of a solar and an LED lamp. The aim is to create an object that stands out from the competition, offering attractive and innovative lighting concepts. The challenge will last a whole day, and 30 people will be able to take part. At the end of the day, a jury of professionals from key players in the field - Autodesk, Cults, Sculpteo, A3DM Magazine, Volumic 3D, Kréos, etc. - will award prizes to the best creations.
