Snake Conventional 110 – With Professional Trigger System and Stainless Steel Accessories
Snake Speargun – Compactness and Precision in a Slim Body
The Snake model represents the perfect balance between compactness, maneuverability, and performance. Designed to offer maximum control in any situation, it is the slimmest speargun in the entire catalog. Its streamlined design maximizes maneuverability, making it ideal for spearfishing in tight spaces or obstacle-rich environments.
Compact yet powerful, the Snake’s balanced body provides exceptional stability while shooting, ensuring precise trajectories even during rapid movements. The double-hole muzzle can accommodate up to two pairs of 16 mm bands, allowing for adjustable power based on the fisherman's needs.
Designed to suit both beginners and experienced divers, the Snake stands out for its ergonomic grip, built for a firm and comfortable hold even during long fishing sessions.
The combination of lightness, stability, and power makes the Snake an excellent choice for anyone seeking a versatile, fast, and reliable speargun for any type of underwater technique.
3D Model for Speargun and Handle
Designed for milling in exotic woods such as teak, iroko, and mahogany. The package includes .STEP and .STL files for all accessories, compatible with 3D printing and CNC machining in plastic materials like Delrin.
Included DXF Projects
The package includes the complete professional trigger system with quick-release "cam" plates in DXF format, ideal for stainless steel laser cutting. Other included DXF files:
- Covers for lead compartments
- Muzzle accessories
- Handle mounting plates
- Butt plates
All files come with detailed technical drawings in PDF format, including step-by-step instructions for bending and machining.
The DXF files allow the accessories to be made via laser cutting in stainless steel or CNC milling in carbon fiber s, ideal for flat parts that don’t require bending.
Speargun Machining
This model is optimized for engraving on hardwood. We recommend using 3 or 4-flute cutters specifically for wood. Inappropriate tools may compromise the cutting quality.
With a shaft stroke of 110 cm, the speargun is suitable for all spearfishing techniques, including ambush and cave fishing.
Trigger System – Precision and Safety
Designed with micron-level tolerances, the trigger mechanism ensures maximum safety and reliability. Laser cutting must be carried out by qualified technicians to prevent malfunctions or accidental discharge.
The trigger housing bending must be extremely precise; any misalignment could compromise functionality.
Recommended materials for internal components:
- AISI 316 (not 316L)
- AISI 316Ti
- AISI 420
- AISI 440C
- AISI 630
The use of AISI 304 stainless steel (18/10 or 18/8) is strongly discouraged due to its low hardness and poor mechanical wear resistance.
Strength Test: the trigger system successfully withstood a static load of 280 kg for 48 consecutive hours without failure.
Important Note – Wood Preparation
The speargun’s structure is particularly slim. A lightweight laminated blank using Okoumé strips is recommended to reduce weight and ensure proper buoyancy, preventing sinking.
Use hardwoods such as teak, iroko, or mahogany for the central and side layers.
A 15 mm central hardwood strip is recommended.
Reduction System and Performance
The reduction system increases power, range, and accuracy by enhancing shaft stroke and acceleration.
The Vela inverter system virtually eliminates recoil, providing a highly stable trajectory.
Recommended configurations:
- 2 pairs of medium-diameter bands (15–17 mm)
- or 3 pairs of small-diameter bands (14 mm)
The bands run underneath the barrel, while the Dyneema shooting line stays on top, improving handling and swing speed.
Handle Finishing
After milling, the speargun is ready for assembly.
The handle can also be made from Delrin or glass-filled nylon. If so:
- Avoid epoxy resins
- Use polyurethane adhesive (D4 class)
- Sand with 40-grit to create deep grooves on bonding surfaces
Included Files (STEP, STL, DXF formats):
- Speargun body
- Handle (M–L size)
- Handle plate
- Butt plate
- Threaded lead bushings
- Lead compartment covers
- Professional trigger system
- Cam plates
- Muzzle line retainer
Included Technical Drawings (PDF):
