SNAP-LOCK ACE PRO FILAMENT GUIDES

Hello and thank you for your . There are two kinds of guides. One for narrow spool and the other for regular (large) spools. Narrow spools are for spools with a thickness up to narrow spools (37.5 mm - 1.5 inch). The narrow spools are much less frequent so print the large guides and that will work for almost all of your needs. You may want to print one set of narrow in case. The large and narrow match the adjusting bolt size. If you look at the pictures, on each side the guides use a narrow clip while for the middle t a large clip is needed. The narrow guides will not work with the clips. Hope this helps.

I have two models for filament guide. V1 which is available for free on Makeronline but that only works on the version of the Ace-pro that does not have the guides in the lid. Those are the smooth ones you are referring to - MO seems to be down but look at my models there. V2 which is offered here works on all models. Thank you

copy that I already purchased the model from you I was just wondering if you had the piece from the other one that's smoother and more fluid compared to the one I purchased that fits. no problem with the files just personal preference, thank you.

Hi the filament guides were modified on of the changes to the Ace-pro. I had to move back the screw mechanism and other changes. I modified the filament guides and the clips and screws of V1 may not work with V2. The smooth ones you refer to are from V1. Also in V1 I had a guide and not the snap lock. The V1 and V2 guide and snap lock are not interchangeable. Hope this helps to explain.

This model is an upgrade of my existing filament guide. This model works with the new Ace-pro whereas my initial model does not. The purpose of these is to guide the filament spools. You can adjust the width of the guides with the screw to fit different size spools. The snap lock feature locks the adjuster bolt in place. The snap lock also helps with guiding the filament as it reduces sharp angles.
