Would you like to Cults?
You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
- ADVERTISING: Disable your ad blocker.
- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi 💜.
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Hi- I may be printing this incorrectly. When I imported the letters into Bambu studio, they were super small and I had to scale them. I think when I did that with the s, it didn't print right and the pieces don't move. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.
It sounds like there is a problem with the meter/mm-to-inch conversion. When you add or drop in the STL file, a prompt will appear: "The object from file 'Letter, etc.' is too small and may be in meters or inches. Do you want to scale to millimeters?" You should click "YES". This new prompt is from a Bambu update a few versions ago. I just added a new image showing the prompt for your record. If you do it correctly, each letter will be 8mm tall. If it is 0.1mm tall, you must scale it 100000 times to allow the Bambu to fix the size to 8mm tall so the tolerance can allow movement. No need to print with s as they will only get in the way. Feel free to ask more questions, and if you need me to refund your money, I can do that as well. Thank you - CoopsCustom.
