Electrical Installation Instructions
What you’ll need:
All “It’s a Mushroom Lamp” printed parts
LED Module
Electrical Plug (2.1mm DC Jack 12V)
On-off Switch (15mm x 10mm 12V)
Power Supply (12V 1A)
Solder
Soldering Iron
20cm wire (3x)
Electrical Tape
Instructions:
Take two 20cm wires (if you used our recommendations, that’d be one black and one red) and strip 10mm on each end.
Use solder to attach one end of the black wire to one of the pins of the 12v Power Jack and one end of the red wire to the other pin.
Thread the wires through the round hole on the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Stand in a way that the plug faces the outside of the lamp.
Thread only the red wire through the rectangle hole on the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Stand from the inside to the outside, then solder it to the On-Off Switch on the pin aligned to the "0" (off).
Take another 20cm length black wire and solder one of its ends to the remaining pin of the On-Off Switch.
Thread the other end of the new black wire through the rectangle hole on the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Stand from the outside to the inside, pulling it to the top.
Gently knot one of the black wires so you can identify which is linked to the On-Off Switch and which is linked to the Power Jack.
Place the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Led_Cover on top of the mushroom body and thread both black wires through one of the lateral holes.
Cut a stripe of 4 led modules from the rest, and separate them by cutting the double sided tape that links them together. Do not cut the wires between them.
Remove the double sided tape protection from the last module of the stripe and attach it to the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Led_Cover.
In order, go around the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Led_Cover gluing the modules. Once you reach the last one, make the wire connection between gluing it to the Led Cover.
Take the wire you identified from the On-Off Switch and connect it to the positive wire from the led module. Use the wire coming from the Power Jack to connect the negative wire from the led module.
Wrap the links in electrical tape to avoid short circuits. After all that, glue the module to the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Led_Cover.
Place the already assembled mushroom hat on the circle on top of the It’s a Mushroom Lamp_Led_Cover.
Plug your power supply onto the outlet and connect it to the power jack. You can now turn your mushroom light on!
