Full update on the previous versions, removed the prototype version and perfected it.
With the release of Halo Flashpoint and the release of other versions of the datapad on Cults3D and other 3D sites, I have adapted and finalised my datapad for sale.
I have kept in the original datapad seen in the photos with the Elite mini, this works perfectly fine and prints with no issues.
I have added 4 other versions of an updated datapad, 2 made for sleeved cards and 2 for without sleeves. I will add details below for the card sleeve sizes.
1 of each of the sleeved and non sleeved versions is designed to be printed in 2 parts and upside down (already inverted). Printing this way will give the final top surface a smoother feel and avoid any unwanted textures caused by the printing method. please see photos to see the photos for a close up of the smoother surface.
Each fully printed datapad has space for 4 shield tokens, 4 damage tokens (1 can be used for the activation token), 3 pick up items, 1 objective round token and space for your mini to sit when awaiting respawn. This pad is designed to be future proofed for new models Mantic may bring out.
Should more minis be brought out or stat changes change profiles I will make new datapads to cover any changes.
Sleeve dimensions will work up to a maximum of 130mm by 91mm for the profile cards and 65mm by 43mm.
Token slots tested with card tokens from Spartan Edition box.
Should there be any issues with the pads please message me and I'll get to work on any fixes or if you have any suggestions please send them my way.
Print Specs, I have had a message regarding failed prints. Having printed 8 of the new design and 4 of the older design myself and no faults reported until today (4th March 2025) O wanted to state the specs used so anyone having issues can replicate themselves.
Only for FDM printing, maybe possible with resin but not tested so no promises.
Build Plate Temp 60°C.
Nozzle Temp 210°C.
Printed with Elegoo PLA+ Black, Blue and Red.
Initial Layer 0.3mm thick at 40mm/s.
Regular Layers 0.2mm thick at 60mm/s.
10% Infill with Gyroid design.
Ensure build plate is of uniform temperature before printing as corners away from centre may be on cooler areas than centre.
Ensure build plate is clean of debris and is properly calibrated. So many times I have failed prints because I was slightly out. This lead to stringing and/or prints delaminating or peeling at corners.
If build plate adhesion issues continue please consider using a cheap glue stick or PVA glue, this isn’t cheating and can aid in the print sticking to the build plate better.
In the unlikely circumstance you glare having difficulties I hope this helps.
