Dragon Eggs – For Spiral/Vase Mode Or Reusable With Magnets

We have designed 2 new dragon eggs for surprise eggs or articulated dragon/print storage (one of the designs is an optimization of our old dragon egg design). We created a video showing the versions we created, and it also provides a tutorial for assembly with the magnet versions.

There are 3 versions of each egg that we designed. The first designs are top and bottom egg models that are held together by 2x7mm magnets (link to the ones we used is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3TKH7Y3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

The second dragon egg design is just a one-piece version that you can print for display/cosplay. We printed them with 1-3 walls and 0% infill to hold things inside.

The third dragon egg designs are versions of the eggs that are optimized for vase mode/spiral contour. For the ones you see in the video we activated vase mode/spiral contour on our slicer, and then used a 0.15mm layer height with a 0.8mm line width for the main settings.
