Update: I have ed versions of the model with better tolerances for working with Bambu Lab printers. If you are using a Bambu Lab printer or if the pieces slide out without catching, please use the "Bambu Printers" version of the models.

Channel your inner Wolverine and get ready for Deadpool 3 by 3D printing your own collapsing claws! This package includes 2 print-in-place versions of the collapsable claws – one that goes in between your fingers, and another that mounts on top of your wrist. We recommend you print rafts for each version of the claws (except for the connector caps), and please calibrate your E-steps/flow/tolerances before printing. Also, you will need a great first layer, smaller layer heights (we used 0.15), slower print speeds, and a “random” placement for the Z seam for these prints. Be sure to print these without s as well as this will mess with the models.
For the between-fingers version, simply print 3 or 6 (3 for one or 6 for two) of the “single claws” and 1 or 2 connector caps. Once they are printed, slide the claws all the way into the connector cap for a glue-free hold. If a part breaks, slide the claw(s) back out and print/replace only the broken piece (no need to print a whole new one). See our assembly video (link above) for more information.
For the wrist-mounted version, some additional steps/materials will be needed. Print out 1 or 2 depending on how many you want, and be sure to print it with a raft. Once printed, extend the claws fully and use glue or a 3D pen to connect the raft to the claws so that they don’t fall out of the back. After this, cut the Velcro strips (link included below) in half the long way. Slide the strips through the mounting holes, and measure where they will secure to your hand/wrist. Cut a small piece of the opposite side of the Velcro to use to connect the Velcro strips to secure it to your hand. See our assembly video (link above) for more information.

We have not printed these smaller than 90%, so we cannot guarantee these will print well if you scale them any smaller, but we designed them thick for durability so you can probably go smaller if needed. If there are any issues with the model, please us at [email protected].
