FMS ATLAS 6WD 5th WHEEL AND SEMI LOW LOADER TRAILER

You have several rigd to tow or a heavy rocket or a pack of beer cans, what ever, this is the tool you need to fit behind your FMS ATLAS.
This low loader trailer is very simple to print and assemble. You can even add one or two extentions which are 96.5mm more than the already 384mm x 135mm of center paylload.
This trailer use a addon you have to print and fit on the rear of the Atlas. This 5th wheel a bit forward compare to previous 5th wheel I made before, to have a better steering.
There are several parts you have to assemble together with M2 x20mm screws. You need also M2x30mm for the wheels and ramps.
Ramps are foldable and use M1.4 x 10mm screws
there are 12 wheels on this trailer, that's huge. You will find exterior rim and inner rims as well as a spacer.
You need to purchase some wheels on Aliexpress, very cheap, and you will remove tires and fit it on the rims.
the wheels have this small size as many low loader.
Central part is in two half you have to glue together using links which go inside part groove. If you add extension you need more links.
All M2 holes you are going to screw in have to be redrill to 1.6mm and when you go through be redrill to 2mm
A M3 x12mm screw is needed for the pivot point on the trailer.

Concerning the 5th wheel, it can rotate in 2 directions which is a good improvement for crawling.
You need a M2x 20mm or any 2mm stud for the lateral rotation.
A locker is made with a M2 x 30mm screw or any 2mm stud. when lock you cannot release the trailer from the truch in any way, unless you remove this stud. I drilled the hole for this stud in the 5th wheel to 2mm then the screw or stud can be fitted and remove easily.
5 the wheel is in 1 part now to get a good sliding surface. The trailer receive a separate part you need to glue on with the side you printed on the bed of the machine in with the 5th wheel.

Grip plates have to be glued on the top and allow you to secure the load with some straps or tie rap.

2 feet can be fitted at the front to park the trailer. M1.4 x 8mm is required for each.

for M1.4 screws As usual you have to redrill holes to 1.2mm when a screw has to screw in and redrill to 1.5mm when a screw has to go through freely.
