The carnival mask - light art for the wall

Bring the carnival into your home with this model. This mask consists of 11 different components plus a wall bracket that can be stuck to the wall or hung up with a nail. It's not just an eye-catcher during the day. With an additional string of lights, it also turns night into day.

Diese Maske besteht aus 11 verschiedenen Bauteilen plus eine Wandhalterung, die an die Wand geklebt oder mit einem Nagel aufgehängt werden kann. Nicht nur tagsüber ist sie ein Hingucker. Mit einer zusätzlichen Lichterkette macht sie auch die Nacht zum Tag.

Information on printing the components
Because all parts of the mask are thin, they are probably printed in solid colour. It is better to attach the walls of the mask to the print bed with a brim. You should print the decorations at a slower printing speed. I myself have reduced the print speed to 50 %.

Information for the assembly
I recommend using a 3D pen for the assembly. It can be used to assemble the components quickly and cleanly.

Step-by-step instructions
1. first the two main frame parts together
2. you can align the frame parts for the upper springs using the transparent plates of the upper springs and them to the main frame
3. now glue the transparent plates to the frame
4. now you can glue the decorations of the mask onto the transparent plates
5. if you want to integrate a string of lights into the mask, thread the string of lights through the openings and, if necessary, glue the string of lights into the mask. Make sure that the chain does not completely fill the eyes. The eyes are needed to fix the mask to the wall
6. choose a suitable place for the mask and attach the wall bracket with double-sided adhesive tape or a nail
7. slide the mask through the eyes onto the holder

Informationen zum Druck der Bauteile
Weil sämtliche Teile der Maske dünn sind, werden sie wahrscheinlich massiv gedruckt. Die Wände der Maske solltet ihr mit einer Brim besser am Druckbett befestigen. Die Verzierungen solltet ihr mit einer langsameren Druckgeschwindigkeit drucken. Ich selbst habe die Druckgeschwindigkeit auf 50 % reduziert.

Informationen für den Zusammenbau
Für den Zusammenbau empfehle ich einen 3D Pen zu benutzen. Mit ihm können die Bauteile schnell und sauber zusammengefügt werden.

Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung
1. Füge zuerst die beiden Hauptrahmenteile zusammen
2. Die Rahmenteile für die oberen Federn kannst du mithilfe der transparenten Platten der oberen Federn ausrichten und an den Hauptrahmen fügen
3. Klebe nun die transparenten Platten auf den Rahmen
4. Jetzt kannst du die Verzierungen der Maske auf die transparenten Platten kleben
5. Wenn du eine Lichterkette in die Maske integrieren möchtest, fädle die Lichterkette durch die Öffnungen und, falls notwendig, klebe die Lichterkette in der Maske fest. Achte darauf, dass die Kette nicht die Augen vollkommen ausfüllt. Die Augen werden als Fixierung an der Wand benötigt
6. Suche dir einen enden Ort für die Maske aus und befestige den Wandhalter mit einem doppelseitigen Klebeband oder mit einem Nagel
7. Schiebe die Maske durch die Augen auf den Halter
