no that is not normal. You found a mistake in the first image “01 Assemble the Inner Center Part”.
I corrected the Image already.
The only difference between “inner part1 center” & “inner part2 center” is the cavity that makes the Hex shape to hold the nut in. I have made and added a screen shot in the Photo Section of this page to make it more clear.
