I see, normal resin tend to be brittle as it doesnt flex much from what I , I really would like to advice you to get it printed in polymer by a professional company as stated in the print instructions. Another thing you could try is to get the industrial hard resin.

Ill try printing it with nylon like resin

PETG, the front face on the build plate, so this is one of the things that makes it fragile as well, especially in that part. Besides that i think 25% infill and like min 4 perimeters in PrusaSlicer.

And what layer height? That part is already thin, if the layer adhesion isn't on point it will weaken and cause it to snap. But I'll have a look into it

I see what you mean, is that a stock tm chamber? I am pretty sure stock TM 5.1/4.3 don't have that and also aftermarket upgrade hop-ups like AM, CCT, DP don't have that. You can safely dremel or file the part that sticks out away to make it flush, shouldnt be a problem

Regarding the front getting stuck, the model is very tight on scale and using FDM printing the total diameter can get thicker if the printer hasn't been very precise calibrated, as such, stated in the description it is highly recommended to get it made with for example using SLS.

Hey Adawg, sorry for the late reply, I'm having vacation 😅 as stated in the instruction you really want to have it polymer printed with an industrial SLS printer, as you have figured out already the neck area only has that much material, normal fdm printing usually won't hold unless you've a very fine tuned machine, strong material and good material adhesion

nonetheless, I do have an idea as to how to lessen the load, but I don't have my pc to work on it right now

Is there also something I should print as a baseplate for the airsoft pistol magazines? The original baseplate doesn't seem to fit into the magwell properly, I have to remove it in order to have it load into the aap-01.

No there is no baseplate model sorry, what kind of magazine (plates) are you using? the magwel should have decent clearing, but I could make the magwel larger if you want? The normal short magazines are hard to use though, they don't have much to grab onto unlike an extended one

I'm using regular 24 round kjw / aap / WE glock magazines. The magwell should be larger for the baseplates of these as they otherwise won't lock into the mag release.

at the top of the print where it thins out it cracks or breaks where the nozzle feeds in

if I understand it correctly you mean the part where the hopup slides in? there a various possible reasons for that, what material and what settings are you using to print? also is your printer properly dialed in? in the end, as I recommend on the product page you really want it SLS printen in nylon, FDM prints aren't that resistant on the blowback force..

I'm pretty sure the dimensions are correct. for the mounting are you using the correct short screw? I tested that to make sure it sits snug and should be the same for the SRO plate as the RMR plate

if possible could you some pictures? would make it easier to troubleshoot / see

I have serval other standard RMR mounts that the red dot fits on fine. The holes on yours are way off.

I have asked an friend for measurements on his rmr, and you were right the holes a little bit off. I have updated the design, please the new stl and try it, let me know if it fits!

I have not tested resin print myself so can't 100% guarantee. but it has quite tight tolerances, so printing with resin should fit and work. if you print with resin printer make sure you use an good strong resin :) if possible abs-like or siraya tech, normal resin is quite brittle.
