When you comment on this listing please start with m5c in the comments so i know.
This is a collection of upgrades i make for my farm of ankermake m5c machines.
The parts is to improve cooling, vibration or save space to put them in enclosures Etc.
I will add parts during time here............
Recomended materials are petg or tougher if not stated another material.
..............
Spool Holders...............
..............
You will have to get 4 slightly longer screws then the originals!!!!
All parts designed to be printed without s.
Use 4-5 walls and top/bottom layers.
Use 15-25 % infill minimum.
The roller is to add some extra strength and made to be slided on with a small force and after that its sitting there.
The original i never liked when it where so high,So i made these 2 versions for my printfarm machines.
You simply guide in the tube in the 5 mm hole and friction will keep it in place. ( the tube is 4 mm outer radius.)
The tube guide is to keep the tub from getting stuck at some heights on the left z axis.
Compact is made for my low enclosures and will take off 50mm cubed on the top right corner of the build are.
This will only affect uf you print a cube that uses the full bed and print height.
Standard is a similar design but give you the full print size.
..............
D-Link x axis camera mount...............
..............
Use shorter m3 screws then the ones that come with the camera to avoid any damage to x axis pulley.
Print with petg or tougher as solid as you dare.
Use 0.16_0.18 layer height.
..............
Y Pulley spacers...............
..............
There is 2 versions where i use the tough versions to be able to print at higher speeds with a tight belt to minimize ringing.
Basic version is good enough and more discrete and i use tough because i run a printfarm where they run 24 h per day.
Original spacer is a weak plastic tube that in my eyes are to week for a one screw pulley that holds the belts for the entire heatbed.
If you have problems with ringing on y axis you could try this if profile tuning dont help.
Print in petg or tougher and i printed my spacers solid by increasing number of walls until the part where solid.
Center hole is made to be tight where you have to slightly thread the screw thru to avoid as much jiggle as possible.
Simple hack but works well!
..............
The Creality 4010 blower print cooler adapters...............
..............
The adapters to use creality 4010 fans is more a sound improvement but also noticed better cooling.
Original fans is very annoying in sound when you have more then 4 running at 100% at the same time.
You will have to source 2 m2 screws ( for fans ) with a length around 12 mm per 3d printer and we reuse original fan screws for the adapters.
Use original cables and cut them close to the fan so you have extra length,This is more that the m5c use a very small connector we have to reuse.
Now cut the cables on the creality fan and twist the cables together with the original cables.
Dont forget to isolate the exposed parts from when you twist the cables together and i used shrink tubes.
The spring parts on the adapters is so that we only need 1 screw for each adapter to hold the fan in place.
And make sure you have a creality original fan or clone that is leveled on the back all the way or you have to use washers on the back where you tighten the fan.
Added is a version for the more lowcost clone fans that have a space in the back where you insert the screws.
This is so you dont have to use small washers!!!!
..............
Vibration feet...............
..............
This is more how soft you want them when we use tpu 95 that are a bit stiff.
I ended up using 3 walls and 10% line infill and no top or bottom layers.
This gived me a good balance but 1-2 top and bottom layers is probably fine.
To print use the original slicers petg profile and set speed in the mobile app to 25% so should it print fine.
..............
The x axis motor cover...............
..............
I printed it in tpu more or less only to dampen motor vibrations while still cover the pulley.
I used it to fit 2 off my macines in a very small enclosure.
..............
Bedcorners are made to replace originals so you can use pei plates with sharp corners.
..............
Airpure adapter is for you to fasten a anycubic air purifier on the top bar of the m5c.
Make sure the cables dont hit it when at top position.
Secure the purifier on adapter with a ziptie.
On my youtube channel do i usually show my files in action.
