Nice model. I can't wait to get started. Using the fissure lines to break it up was very smart. I am curious what paints you used to finish the piece as shown in the photos. I've found many videos and descriptions of using paints and washes but few cite specific colors and brands.

Honestly it doesn't really look like an allosaurus skull because the shape is not elongated enough (too short?), the number of teeth is not enough too.

Great work. My 1:1 print ist done and assembled.
It still needs some airbrush detailing, but I will share some pics when the ing Display is finished (printed).

Hi! I'm really looking forward to printing this huge guy at some point in the future to display at home, but I was wondering if you could tell me which specimen this was based on, or if it was based on multiple? It says Leidy: Lawless Hunter in the description, but I cannot find a specimen by that name, just that Leidy was a paleontologist who was (one of?) the first to describe one of the species.

hello - i have purchased many of your files. for some reason - this Allosaurus model is in 'pieces' and can't be put together in ZBrush like your other models (unless i do it painstakingly manually). any idea why this one is different than the other models I've gotten from ya?

also - you make the BEST models and i love your print instructions. very well thought out. i will some pics of the ones i've printed here soon.

Any update on the T-Rex Skull? I see that you have it finished by pictures on face book! hoping you are willing to sell the files.

Is there a chance that you could provide a single piece skull and single piece mandible in the ? The way the model is split requires a lot of s to be printed.

Halfway there making this print and loving it! So much detail… each piece fits with each other so nicely… I mean, well done!

Would be nice to have these at 50%-100% scale pre-ed for resin printing as well.

Hi, I use an Quidi I mate for my 3D prints (buildbase 260x200x200mm).

My first question would be, does all the pieces can fit into this (changing the position) or is it then to "complex" to remove the s?

Second question, where I can find your Filament did you use for that (or if which color & material is the best for this model, to prepare it that it looks like yours)? I use normaly some classical matt-black-PLA.

Last question, did you bring out (if yes when) an T-Rex Skull?

Superbe, comme toujours! Dès que j'ai fini le crâne de Stégo je m'y attelle! Pour le post-traitement j'utilise aussi la résine UV, bien plus rapide que le ponçage effectivement! Encore un grand merci pour ces merveilleux modèles, maintenant c'est sûr : il va falloir que j'agrandisse mon bureau!

trop génial, enfin des grands modèles pour petites imprimantes, c'est partit pour l'impression en petg (avec l'autre imprimante qui fini le TREX ) ça promets d'être long !
