I printed everything out and painted each accordingly. But now that I'm attempting to assemble, I am having to beat each piece into place with quite a bit of force. While some don't fit at all with the multiple curves in the parts. Am i missing something here? I love the design and apart everything looks amazing. But I've already broken 3 of the detail pieces attempting to get them to go into the grooves, and am at a loss on how to go about it anymore.
Are u printing the correct set of parts? There is no clearances in the mmu parts and they will not fit. If you are printing the parts separately and trying to fit them together make sure to print the parts without mmu in the name
I'm not sure if I only printed the non MMU parts or not tbh. I guess I'll start over and see if I can get it to work
Be careful painting the parts. As the paint could interfere with the parts fitting together. It was designed to be printed in the appropriate colors. If you still have trouble with the pieces fitting together, let me know
I got it all to work, except for 2 pieces. The white parts that create the accent for the mouth piece doesn't seem to fit properly. The middle portion of the part doesn't appear to be long enough, before bending at the bottom. I've printed them out to test fit, and measured using Orca Slicer, and the middle portion doesn't work. Is there something i am missing with this part?
Is there any way I could get the last 2 parts so I can complete the mask? those are the only things keeping it from being done. It looks awesome mounted up on my wall, but definitely looks incomplete without those parts on the mouth piece.
There was some issues with the white mouth parts in the one set of files. There is a V2 white mouth parts included in the stl files. If you have issues with the one set, I recommend printing the V2 white mouth parts.
