07.05.2025. Announcing the results of CNC Machining / Laser Cutting challenge about boxes
Drum roll, please... It's time to announce the winners of the #LASERCUTBOX contest! We received a huge number of entries, and all the participants excelled, making it very difficult to choose the winners. Many thanks to all of you for your creativity and commitment!

We are thrilled to launch a new modeling contest focused on the art of box design for CNC machining and laser cutting! This is the perfect opportunity for makers, designers, and DIY enthusiasts to unleash their creativity and precision by crafting unique digital files for functional and decorative boxes made with CNC or laser.
The goal of this contest is simple: create ready-to-cut digital files (DXF, SVG, AI, or other vector formats) for boxes, cases, organizers, and storage solutions that can be made using CNC machines or laser cutters. Whether you're a seasoned designer or an aspiring creator, this challenge welcomes all skill levels. Take this opportunity to reimagine classic box designs or develop new concepts with intricate patterns, clever ery, or modern aesthetics.

What is the duration of the contest?
The contest will run from March 1st, 2025, to April 30th, 2025.
What are the prizes?
To reward the best creations, Cults is offering 1,500 EUR to spend as you wish, enough to cover some of your CNC machining & lasercutting material needs, for example :) See the payment by bank transfer in the rules.
- 1st prize: 750 EUR
- 2nd prize: 500 EUR
- 3rd prize: 250 EUR
How to participate in the contest?
- Publish one or more new and original designs (never published on Cults before) related to the contest theme.
- Mention the hashtag #LASERCUTBOX in the description of your design (your design will not appear immediately in the list of entries due to moderation, please be patient).
- Submit your model for free on Cults. If you want to win, the model has to be exclusive and not published on other websites
- Share your creation to get as much visibility as possible and increase your chances of winning (use the Share button on your design's page).
How will the winners be selected?
Participants will be judged by the Cults team according to the following criteria:
- Originality of the design: 10 points
- Usefulness and ingenuity of the creation: 10 points
- Quality and photographic staging: 5 points
- Popularity of the model (number of likes, s, stars, views, etc.): 5 points
