A 3D-printable music box

3D designer Philipp Tiefenbacher has just released a creative 3D object on the 3D file platform Thingiverse. It's a fully functional 3D printable music box. Once you've printed out the 6 components of the mechanism, all you have to do is assemble them, and off you go with the music. This is quite a technical feat, as the level of detail of the 3D model is very high. The 3D printing also has to be perfectly calibrated so that the notches are perfectly aligned with the slats. A misplaced bracket could cause a false note and exasperate even the greatest music lovers :).
