My friend roped me into a costuming group that ended up being steampunk themed. I ed this in the hopes of coming up with something interesting and wow did it pop. I originally tried it in PETG but that didn’t go as well as I had hoped so I ran it again in Tough PLA and it now takes a heavy beating and keeps going.

There was no back structure so I threw together a net from some leather pieces and added some printed gears for weight. I added several extra pieces to it overall to pull it all together and gave it a cheap paint job with acrylics and then lined the inside with white fleece. The monocle has a UV camera filter as a lens. The entire mask measures about 16 inches tall and scaled up well.
