Make’s description
I used Bambu Studio's adaptive layering for any rounded part. s used on the big ring (single piece) and the two underbelly parts that called for it ( Maker Muse's tip w/ snug fit normal where they popped off). Total print time was ~14 hours, and I printed all the parts on smooth PEI plates with images so they would transfer (hologram for the SD card holder and shapes for the rest).
Filaments used:
Bambu Lab Basic green PLA @220c (big shell pieces)
Bambu Lab Galaxy green @220c PLA (spike rings)
MICA3D rainbow GITD PLA @220c (spikes and big ring)
Duramic3D black PLA+ @230x
Duramic3d beige PLA+ @ 230c
Flashforge metal gray Silk PLA @230c (SD card holder)
I super charged the GITD filament with a black light for the dark room shots.
This model was EXCELLENT to print and put together (I did have to lay the small rings flat, but that's the only model layout change I made). This was well worth the money, and I will now be checking out the designer's other work.
