Make’s description
This is a Goliath v2.1 (I've had the for a long time and didn't realise there was a v2.2 until after I started printing).
Using an Ender 3 S1 Pro with Thomas Toka's excellent firmware (which increases the printable bed size to 235x235mm) - https://github.com/ThomasToka/MarlinFirmware/releases/tag/MARLIN-E3S1PROFORK-BYTT-v025 - I printed the separate components version. Used PLA for the chassis and wheels and accessories but had to use PETG for the tracks. Speeds varied between 40mm/s and 100mm/s depending on part. Infill between 0% and 100% following the specific part instructions for the v2.1 customisable model at https://www.3dhonza.com/pipbot
There was about 4 days printing time for the main model plus another day for accessories like battery boxes, RC-1 box.
The accessory mountings are very strong and need a lot of force to get them on and off again. There's no way they're falling off during use.
I had a print failure on the chassis; one of the top plates got knocked off the bed. I salvaged it by reslicing the remainder of the model and superglue-ing the parts together. The resulting cut'n'shut chassis is not as strong as it should be and the seams through the accessory mounting points are especially worrisome.
Haven't got it motorised yet but hopefully, given it's going to be quite slow driven by servos, it will hold up well in use.
