I need one for an A&K SR-25 with a kythera. From what I can understand G&G uses a proprietary gearbox and not a proper V2.5 GB. I'm getting the replica soon it's ordered. There's a while till I get my HPA hardware but that's also on the way. Any ideas?
Actually looking at the proportions maybe G&G has two SR25 models. And one uses a proper V2.5. I'll buy this and try it out later.
Hello, this is the v2.5, it's longer than V2 gearbox, but please keep in mind that's specially made for the Polarstar F2
Ther is another V2.5 model for a PDiK engine, I'm still waiting for it, I think it would fit better the Kythera.

Alright. I'll text here once I get a MAXX unit and the Kythera. Also by the way, for the SR-25, should I be getting a MAXX M4P or an M4A MAXX unit. I couldn't find consensus online...
The Maxx Model M4P and M4A are both high-quality hop-up units for airsoft guns, but they have one key difference:
* M4P (Pro): Designed for PolarStar HPA engines. It features a special feed tube with a latch that catches BBs when a magazine is removed. This prevents BBs from spilling out when you detach the magazine.
* M4A (AEG): Designed for Tokyo Marui-spec AEGs (including G&G and Krytac, but excluding KWA). It uses a small wire spring to stop BBs from falling out, which is more common in standard AEGs.
In essence, the main difference lies in the feeding mechanism and compatibility with different airsoft gun types.

I had both, the BB retaining system is the only difference, from what I've seen.
Alright I will probably try and get the P then for the latch. It seems to be cool it would help me save BBs, if I cannot the A is available where I live.
Hey so, I almost have my parts. I will have them in a week or so. 1 change of plan though, I went with the Silent Industries Alpha instead of the MAXX Models unit. So it may need some work. If you are willing to design a GB shell for me I am willing to pay a reasonable price for it though.

Hi. I just assembled my SR-25 with the Kythera, WraithX and MAXX for now. The MAXX unit is my buddies. And the buddy has my Silent. So I will come back next week and let you know if modifications are needed. Ill buy the GB on the 5th as thats when I get paid.
I am also having nozzle alignment issues right now. Which these shells should fix. So I think I will buy the MAXX one now. And switch later if that is ok with you.
Also I forgot to ask. You are using the #K1 nozzle as base right? The V2.5 nozzle?
It's adapted to use the normal V2 nozzle.
hmm I got the #k1 nozzle. can we do some adjustments to make it fit? From what I know we would just need to space it back by the difference in mm. 1.314 - 0.841... I bought the MAXX mancraft box. ill return with fitment in 3 hours after its printed.

The engine would have to sit back .473 mm (my nozzle is longer .473mm)
