this is the NW64 mag so this one to be clear doesn’t fit in a regular P90 pouch. these mags are 64mm wide. But they will fit in paintball pouches like the dye tactical locking pod pouch. and maybe some more that I will add on the list if I’m aware of them.
What is the idea behind creating the NW64 mag series.
the fallowing reasoning is mostly based on the 68 cal version. since I did not had a wide spectrum of 50cal paintballs to do a lot of test’s but the conclusions is basically the same. however the 50cal in comparison to the 68 cal already had a larger bend on the inside so that should have helped. how ever the larger mag did also feed T4e tracer rounds where as with the normal mag this was a bit of a tricky thing to do.
and not to forget in the 50 cal's case will it add 1 more round
The original mag have been improved a lot. But I did noticed that in some cases depending on what the bore size of the paintball was that it would get stuck at the bend of the mag. This could be fixed by half loading the mag. But this will of course reduce the amount of paint in your I looked at making a wider mag that is haves a more conventional curve going on so there is less friction at the bend of the mag. And this seems to work with basically any type of 68 cal paintballs, but rubber type of re-balls are still hard to use in these type of mags
this model is the OPEN mag version of the NW64. so you can add window in this mag so you can see how much paint is left.

compatibility note:
this mag will not fit in any airsoft P90’s mag pouches
the RUNQI can’t work with this mag use the V23/N23 Classic model for that instead
the airsoft P90 builds are also not compatible with this NW64 series of mags
spring wise:
for the 50cal version is only 1 spring tested. that is the 2x 12mm OD, 0.6mm wire spring and 300mm long.
there will be a link added to 2 aliexpress stores where you can find those.
if there are more springs tested with some modded parts, then those will be updated to this .
