simple construction, effortless, works 100%
Required Materials
4 mm diameter, 40 mm long detection pin induction pin. For flywheels..
Inner diameter 4 mm, outer diameter 12 mm, width 4 mm, 2 miniature bearings for flywheels..
2 pieces, 5cc glass injectors
We will use 2 serum sets by attaching only the rubber part of these serum sets to the ends of the cold and hot pistons.
If anyone wants 28 pieces of 8 mm diameter, they can use bearing balls for the flywheels. I used it. Also, the engine runs even if you do not use it, but you can use it if you want it to run more efficiently.
4 pieces of 16 mm long m3 screws, the screw type does not matter
Wood screws for screwing 8 m3 size flywheel holders and syringe holders.
Construction
First, let's place the two bearings, left and right, into the holes in the flywheel holder. Then, let's gently place the 4 mm diameter induction shaft into a single flywheel with the help of a hammer. Let's screw the flywheel holder to the wood.
After screwing it, let's install the flywheel on which we attached the shaft to the holder, then if you have difficulty installing the other flywheel, let's insert it into the shaft hole once with a 4 mm thick drill bit and remove it.
After installing the flywheel assembly, let's move on to how the injector holders are made. First of all, I designed the syringe holders as 2 types. Firstly, I designed it to fit 2 of my children's wooden so that the heat does not through the plastic. Secondly, I designed a piece that can hold the injectors directly without wooden. In the wooden non-holder, you tape the injector with Teflon tape for both the cold and hot injector sides so that it fits snugly into the hole. Thanks to the teflon tape, it gives the plastic some heat, but if it has a wooden holder, you can run the engine for a longer time.
After placing the injectors into the holes with Teflon tape, I designed a 40 mm wide and 50 mm long guide as a guide between the flywheel holder and the injector holder. There must be a 50 mm distance between the flywheel holder and the syringe holder. I designed the guide to both center and calculate the measurement between them to make your work easier.
then install the piston retainers and arms. When installing the arms, your job will be easier if you install the m3 screws with a cordless drill. There are two holes on the flywheel. I left a small hole for you to distinguish between the center and the arm hole. The distance between this hole and the center hole is 7 mm. The other hole is 6 mm. We use the 7 mm one. If the hot piston rod is at 3 o'clock on the flywheel, the cold piston rod should be at 6 o'clock with an angle difference of 90 degrees.
