The alignment block provided with the file pack does not work for the installation on the Ender 6.
The alignment block is designed for a 2 x 2 aluminum extrusion, where as the Ender 6 suses a 2 x 4 aluminum extrusion for the top rails.

Printed your model.
Also if you're using stock X-axis metal carriage with mount from another mod belts aren't 90 degree in relation to a carriage
If you are using another mod with this mod then it obviously wonβt work if the other mod has different dimensions. As for 350mm extrusions being too long, you are obviously doing something wrong because I have 350mm rails on both the X and Y gantry and they fit just fine. Have you even bought this , because I donβt see your name on the list of people who have?
I asked my friend to buy this model for me just because i wasn't able to buy it at that moment. You didn't provide stock carriage adapter without cable chain mount, so i had to use another mod mount just because i don't use such cable chain as yours. Also you didn't provide any STEP nor 3mf files, which means i couldn't adapt your model to my needs.
As for 350mm X rail - you're wrong. Using a simple tape-measure i see only ~330-335mm, but not 350mm (that's gives almost 2cm difference between actual results and rail length you provided). Please check your measurements on YOUR printer.
Also, as i mentioned, you can't use stock spacers for two Y carriages - just for one.
I'm not saying your model is bad or it's not worth buying, buy there are things i should address if anyone are going to use it and will face same problems as i did.
You probably should include Y carriage spacers as printed parts too (which is 17.5mm for "big" spacer and 2.5 for a "small" one with outer diameter will be 5.8mm and inner will be 4.2mm), because stock Ender 6 has two types of "big" and "small" spacers - and only a pair of those will fit (another "big" spacer is almost 20mm and "small" one is almost 5mm)
Also please include stock carriage adapter without cable chain mount, which will be more helpful for those who are not using your cable chain mounting method
Hi,
Thanks for your follow-up messages. Iβve just been out and re-measured all three linear rails on my own Ender 6 β both Y-axis rails and the X-axis β and they are all exactly 350mm in length. I used a standard ruler, so the same method you mentioned. The rails fit perfectly as intended on my build. If youβre only seeing 330β335mm between your Y-axis carriages, that suggests something may be off in your own setup or measurements, not with the design.
Regarding the standard X-axis carriage adapter: this file isnβt included because itβs not part of the optional X-axis mod, which requires a rewire that not everyone wants to do. That said, if you had messaged me privately via Cults, I wouldβve happily sent it to you β no issue there.
On the topic of STEP files: I wonβt be sharing them. This is standard practice on Cults 3D because sharing editable formats allows others to redistribute or sell altered versions of a design that Iβve put time into creating. If someone needs to make specific adjustments, theyβre welcome to create their own model β which is what many makers do in this community.
As for the Y-axis spacers: Iβve used the stock Ender 6 spacers with no issues whatsoever. If yours donβt fit, itβs likely a print tolerance or quality issue on your end. Thereβs no need for me to supply printed versions when the stock ones work perfectly well for the design.
Lastly, just to clarify β youβre the only person so far who has raised these concerns. Plenty of people have successfully printed and used this mod without any of the issues youβre describing. Every one of your complaints so far seems to be due to deviations in your setup, combining my mod with other mods, or potential inaccuracies in your own build process.
I appreciate the , but itβs important to ensure accuracy when making public criticisms. If youβre ever unsure or need , Iβm just a message away β itβs always better to ask first.
You can DM me your Discord/Telegram and i happily provide you my measurements alongside with photos of DIFFERENT spacers. I assume that it may not be an issue with YOUR mod but an issue with stock Creality parts (maybe they were using different spacers for Y carriages pulleys at some production years) - we're talking about Creality after all.
Thing is, i'm pretty sure that all printed parts dimensions are accurate, i even did a caliper comparison between dimensions in slicer and resulted printed parts dimensions - no significant differences whatsoever.
Follow up to my previous comments - i'm currently using your mod without any problems, for second Y-gantry i just used a stack of hexnuts and washers instead of spacer. Temporary solution, but it works.
I forgot that's not Thingiverse, so no dms
