3D model description

Files to make a bobber caboose as used by the Cumberland & Pennsylvania railroad. Similar designs were used by many railroads, and I have included 2 additional bodies with a smaller and no upper horizontal name board for other railroads. The C&Pa version had mud guards on the rear platform. Some railroads used these, some did not. I have also included a version of the end sill with no mounting holes for the mud guard piece. I also included windows for the side in closed and several heights of open positions. This model has a provision to mount a small switch to control lights and there is a spot that will house a 9v battery. The marker lights can be illuminated with micro LEDs or bulbs. Model is designed to use Kadee 830 couplers.

Model has an interior and a coal stove

In addition to printed parts you will also need these additional supplies:

Ozark Miniatures 1/2" NBW, 1" NBW, 1" bolt casting, grab irons for end and roof, 3/64" brass rod, 1/16" brass rod, 1/8" styrene rod, .032 brass rod, brass chain, M2 screws for roof and side frames. Model fits standard size wheels. I used metal wheels for my model.

Model is was designed at 1 mm = 1" (1:25.4) and the files are designed to be printed at 1:1 ratio for G scale track. Smaller scales may be able to scale down to meet your needs.
