Guten abend!

Sorry but I don't speak German so will have to do with English.
Did you print the Shell_CYMA_v2? If not you should try that one, it should be widely compatible. Works with at least all CYMA, E&L and LCT that I have tried and any other AK that accepts CYMA mags.

What brand is your AK?

I have now printed the mags from ABS and they fit and feed well. do you still have a big one?

My last comment has been "pending approval" for 11 hours, so I'll try to send it again but obfuscate the URL if that's the reason why it needs approval:

I've made a new outer shell that you can get here: airsoft dot ai / Shell_CYMA.stl
It should be a lot closer but I'm not 100% sure it will fit. Changing the outer shell dimensions affect where the hop up feed tube is, so the hole may need to be moved slightly back or forth, maybe a few other minor adjustments. I've printed one and compared it to a CYMA mag with dimensions similar to the one you have. I split it in the slicer and printed only the first 25mm, I would recommend you do the same so you don't waste filament and time in case it's not a fit - yet.
It will require two new inner shells, I will make new ones when we know the dimensions are right. So don't print those if you haven't already.

Hi, it works great! Fitment seems to be very good! Only comment to make is that the mag could be held a little tighter in the mag catch. I've accomplished this by adding two layers of electrical tape to the underside of the mag's rear lip. Would only need 0.5mm onto that surface and will 100% :).

Hi and once again thank you for the pictures and information, it's very helpful!

I've ed 5 new STLs to Cults, all ending with "_CYMA" in the filename. I have made the "mag catch thing" 0.5mm thicker so it should seat nice and tight. If it is a bit too tight it's probably nothing a minute or two of sanding can't solve.

I have not printed and tested the new STLs but I'm almost certain it will work just as well as the original in of feeding as it's only a few minor adjustments to the original design - the BB path had to be moved 2mm to match the location of the feed tube.

If you don't mind it would be great with once you get it assembled. I'm going to print one and test it in my AK but the more tests the better.

Hi friend! 10 months later and I finally got my AK working again. It's mosfet died before I got around to testing the mags. Now I have the CYMA mag set fully assembled, all the parts have come together as they should be, however the bottom of the CYMA hopup inlet is not long enough to activate the magazines BB release switch. If you'd like, I can a video/pictures of what I mean. 👍

If it is then get back to me and I will see if I can make an update to it to make it work with your hop up. If it isn't this retainer that you're already using then I suspect using this instead will solve the problem.
If you import both the one you printed and this new file into the slicer you should easily be able to tell if it is the same or not.

Hi, thanks for the fast reply. I have printed and tried to v2 stopper now, however it is much to big to fit. Even now looking in the slicer, it is far too tall to fit in either Inner1 or Inner1_cyma. Photo here: https://ibb.co/NC3Z4rj

I have updated the design with new "CYMA v2" files that are compatible with the larger BB retainer/stopper I sent you yesterday. I believe this should solve the problem as the larger BB stopper should be easier to push aside for a shorter hop up feed tube.

Forgot to mention that the outer shell is still the same, so no need to print a new one. Just printing the new stopper and two inner parts should be enough.

Great stuff! Well done, just re-assembled now, fitment is good and I can hear and see the bb's release into the hop chamber. Haven't tested firing but I will check to see if it feeds this weekend! Thanks!
