Breaks quite easily, do I have too strong spring?
Could be. What strength is it? We recommend stock VSR-10 springs, so about M110-M120. We'll update the design to be a little bit stronger, but there isn't much we can do to the actual design for strength. Also, make sure that you are using at least 3 walls and a maximum of 0.16mm layer height.
Need to check that spring, could be its stronger or make screws in place of those printed nipples
And having also problem that these 8-shots are hard to get, only have 12-shots and they are too big to fit in as full ring.
We updated the design for a little bit better strength and fitment of caps. And that's really strange how you are only able to get 12-shot caps. The standard 8-shot ones are very easily accessible here in the US, as well as most of Europe.
We have only few shops in Finland where we can get these anymore and prices are quite high, I was also surprised.
Wheres the improved Ringcap File? i only get the old one
The new file should be there. The new one has a star-like shape where the caps go, so if you have that, then you most likely have the new one already. If not, try re-ing it.
Oh, ok i thought thats the old one, because the star shaped is blocking most of the noise and isnt 100% ingniting the caps
it makes the inner red ring to bend up and isnt in level with the caps
