1/35 Tiger I combat tracks - Early & Mirrored Pattern

These are my workable track for 1/35th scale Tiger I, early pattern.
It is now the newly upgraded April '23 design, replacing the simplified '21 designed version.

All geometry is as close to the original as possible while retaining good printability. I've included a mirrored version as well, allowing you to build all initial and early patterns of Tiger I tracks.

All Initial Tiger tanks were issued with mirrored tracks, the inconvenience dealing with 2 different track runs did lead into some Tiger companies switching tracks around, having some tiger run on LHS tracks and some RHS tracks only. Therefore the mirrored variant was dropped early in production.

Fit was tested with RFM, Dragon and Zvezda/Revell and Tamiya.

There are 3 different hinge mechanisms for you to choose from:
1st. Pin System, using half-length pins with different detail for inside and outside placement - this is the intended version for you to use.
2nd Wire System: If your printer or resin doesn't allow to keep the tolerances required for the pin-system (or you don't use a wash & cure station) this version is more forgiving. the wire version has wide open cones, assisting in cleaning and wire guidance.
3rd. Click System: doesn't require any pins or wire but won't be strong enough to toy around with the same way as pin and wire would allow you. Mix some flexible resin with the one you use; it doesn't like over exposure or too brittle resins. All in all, it has to be seen as experimental.
