3D model description

This kit is for cutting tear drop exits from 90 degree bends in various tubing sizes, currently all the guides added are for the short radius bends available in that tubing size.

The kit includes two designs for each tubing size, one is just 3D printed, the second designs allows for the installation of wear strips to be added so that the cutting blade does not damage the 3D printed part, these can then be repalced as needed. I have also added dimensions for the wear stip in each of the ZIP files.

The design is lightweight and simple to reduce printing cost and time, this also means it is very simple to use as long as you have a bandsaw or reciprocating saw

If there is a pipe size or centerline radius you need even after you have originally brought the pack, drop me a message and I will add it to this pack at no extra cost.

To use the guides, place a 90 degree bend into the cutting guide, then tighten down the two bolts which clamp the two halves together making sure they are tight enough to secure the tube, the simply remove the section which is protruding from the guide.

Remove the tube, deburr the edges and the tube is finished.
