Protect WEEDO TINA 2 Printer

In order to prevent children from putting their fingers in the slot above the printer and potentially injuring themselves, I created an easily clipped protection.

Assembly guide (gif animation):

1. Turn on the printer and go to the "prepare" menu

2. Select "Unload Filament"

3. Remove the filament from the extruder

4. Press the black collar of the pneumatic connector to release the white tube (PTFE)

5. Pull on the white tube at the same time as you press on the black collar in order to take the tube out

6. the white tube through the underside of the slot in the printed part

7. Clip the printed part into the slot above the printer until you hear a small click.

8. Push the white tube into the pneumatic connector

9. Insert the filament into the extruder

10. Go back to the "prepare" menu then select "Load the filament' and continue the classic purge procedure.

That's it, your children won't be able to put their fingers or drop objects* in the big slot of the printer

CAUTION: * This guard mainly prevents children from hurting themselves by inserting their fingers. the slot being thinner with the protection, large objects cannot fall in, however small objects can still . therefore check before each ignition of the printer, that nothing has gone through there in order not to damage it.

2. Select "Unload filament".

3. Remove the filament from the extruder

4. Press the black collar on the pneumatic connector to release the white tube (PTFE)

5. Pull on the white tube at the same time as you press on the black collar to release the tube.

6. the white tube through the underside of the printed part slot

7. Clip the printed part into the slot at the top of the printer until you hear a small click.

8. Push the white tube into the pneumatic connector.

9. Insert filament into extruder

10. Return to the "prepare" menu then select "Load filament" and continue with the classic purging procedure.

That's it, your children won't be able to stick their fingers or drop objects* into the printer's large slot.

WARNING: * This protection prevents children from injuring themselves by inserting their fingers. as the slot is thinner with the protection, large objects can't fall in, but small objects can still through. so check before each switch-on that nothing has ed through to avoid damaging the printer.
