- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi ๐.
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteโs revenues are paid back to the platformโs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Thank you for this! I have been running this mod without any problems for months. Now I'm going to try out the Galileo 2 (still beta) extruder instead of the CW2. You don't happen to have a mod for that one? I assume the only modifications you made was adding those two screw holes at the top.
Glad it's helped you! I haven't done any mods for other extruders but I'd imagine it shouldn't be too hard. Yes, the only modification I made to the original Stalthburner/Clockwork files was the added mounting holes. I haven't looked at Galileo 2 yet so I don't know how it affects the geometry but if the outer geometry is the same (or similar) then it shouldn't be a big deal to get this working on a different extruder.
I ed the front body from the galileo 2 extruder github repo and added it on top of yours in prusaslicer, and they look very much identical in shape and size. So just making those two holes should be enough, great! I will share an update once I have printed the GA2 (and received the parts to build it).
