You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Hi, this looks exactly as what I need for my P1P. Question: how is the filament guides to one output of this holder? How do I connect it to the printer? Do I have to buy some accessories for it? Do you have some pictures of back side of this, ideally installed? Thanks
Hi there - thanks for getting in touch!
So there are 4 entry points which all merge into one exit point.
To use this design you choose your preferred filament and feed it through from one of the four entry points and it will exit at the back in the centre of the unit.
Where the filament exits you treat it like an external spool and feed it directly into the printer/extruder. (The printer then just pulls the filament through one of the four ducts perfectly)
For parts, with the exception of the 4 x bearings in each spool holder - All the components and parts are printed so you donβt need to purchase any additional parts or accessories.
I have ing some images so you can see the rear of the unit where the 4 entry and 1 exit point is.
I will post a Facebook link for you to see a short video I made showing how it works.
Thanks again for your and questions.
Let me know if thereβs any further info I can make available for you. I will be happy to assist where I can. π
Below is the link to a Facebook post which has the video of this model working and some further info on the design as well. π

Thank you for the information! Now I have some temporary solution but hopefully I'll get back to printing this.
