Remove Toxic Fumes - Bambu X1C / P1P Activated Carbon Filter System - with an optional Active Heating Element

System can adapt to any other 3d Printer what have an enclosure.
The top plate (or canvas - if you have a tent! ) will be modified to accommodate the Air Filtering System!

Systems, Filter and Heating, can work independent of each other or together as you may see fit !

It use almost 1.5 liters of Active Carbon Pellets! (About 750 gr.)
The Active Carbon can be replaced periodically!

An Active Carbon Filter System - with an integrated Active Heating Element was design so it will combine the necessity of filtering the nocive air from the printing chamber and the advantage of using an Active Heating System !

A Felt Textile (Felt Paper) 1st Stage Filter can be add to the system, positioned INSIDE of the Carbon Media Holder, and secured on position with the provided clamps. The felt textile is extended 10mm on each side - in order to for material to be tailed as a tube! See dimensions on the photo! Note: We strongly recommend to make it few mm larger ... so it will be position easy.

Manufacturing settings

Be aware that Bambu Media Holder is a VERY LARGE file... about 248 Mb (37.2 ZIP FILE), the printing time will be about 1 Day 4 Hours 25 Minutes, using the Bambu X1C printer. Filament consumptions is about 220 Gr. (Bambu Lab Slicer - Basic Settings - ABS Filament)
I increase the Bed temperature to 110 C, so temperature in printing chamber will rise also!

Great print, I am amazed how great the Carbon Media Holder was printed!
All components are fitting well together ... remaining to laser cut the top cover and fill up the Carbon Media Holder with active carbon ... and system is ready for use! It will remain indefinitely on my printer ... I have to find a solution to find place for the AMS! I will have also the Heating System install ... Self adhesive sponge strips are going to be install on the surface between printer and cover ... in order to attenuate any vibrations generated by the Filter/Heating System!

I use 4mm Plywood - it was the only thickness I have at this time - it fit great.
Keep in mind that you will need space for AMS ... sitting next to your printer!
