Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Great design. However (and rather critically) this is not very good for the standard SV06. This is not a fault with your design - it clips perfectly to the printer and is a fantastic idea. However the SV06 Marlin firmware does not play nice with messing around with the SD port.
When inserting and removing the SD card to the extended port, you will often get 'media removed' followed by 'SD init fail' when reinserting, or the printer will show 'media inserted' after putting in the larger SD adapter without micro SD, and then not show any files when clicking 'print from media', possibly because it identifies the SD adapter and not the subsequent micro SD for some reason.
To resolve this, you need to unplug the cable connecting to the SV06 female port, at which point you may as well just not use any of this and just use the micro SD as you regularly would and save yourself minutes of hassle.
Fantastic design that is sadly inhibited by shoddy software. I expect this works fine with klipper or the SV06 plus.
