Would you like to Cults?
You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
- ADVERTISING: Disable your ad blocker.
- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi π.
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Hallo,
I bought these files and printed them. Both parts will NOT fit together.
These are not designed properly.
If you look closely on the pic where the two parts are laying in the slicer software, you will recognice according the lines, that these parts are not of equal size.
In both parts I could place the mentioned PCBs, so this is not a scaling issue. Because if I would just scale them both at the same size, One of the PCBs will not fit anymore.
The case looked good thats why I bought it. Said that I lost my money for a crapy design.
Regards,
Gambrius
Hi there,
Iβm sorry, but I canβt confirm that on my end. Iβve ed another file where both sides are aligned together for better clarity.
Iβve also added an image showing that the parts can be stacked directly on top of each other. However, itβs possible that your printer has slightly different tolerances compared to mine. If thatβs the case, you may need to click the housing parts together with a bit of force or lightly sand them to ensure a proper fit.
For reference, Iβve set a tolerance of 0.2mm.
Please let me know if you have any further questions!
Best regards,
Niklas
Hi Gambrius, I have redesigned the case. Could you please try it again and let me know if this works better for you?
Otherwise I would like to give you a refund.
Regards
Niklas
