Ender 6 Modular Extruder + Hotend System - Compatible with multiple components

Now runs 150-200mm/s with up to 10k acceleration.

UPDATE 1: Added and Orbiter v2 solution (it replaces the HX extruder section and uses all the same parts as it).

Direct drive and bowden versions hotend compatibility: Dragon ST + HF, Rapido HF, Dragonfly (BMO), E3D V6.

I will also supply Prusa slicer & Ideamaker profiles if you would like them.

The water test was done on the single 5015 version.

I will be maintaining this design and improving it even more plus adding more features. This system has gone through many redesigns already. All files can be printed without s as 99% of overhangs are less than 45 degrees. Some holes and such might need to be cleaned once printed.

Main features:

• Single or dual 5015 fan options for part cooling.
• 4010/4020 hotend cooling
• 265/267 x 275/290 x 400 Build volume (Depending on the bed you're using - Maximum attainable when using the original mounting plate and v-roller wheels).
• Easy access and maintenance to fans, ducts, hotend and cables.
• Easy and neat cable management.
• Rear part cooling duct designed by me using some ideas from designs such as Rat Rig, the Eva hotend system, VZ Bot and my own knowledge of fluid dynamics.

Assembly instructions are part of the ed files. Must have relocated your y-endstop for 30mm more on y-axis. Everything you need including the number of bolts and nuts needed is supplied.

The direct drive system assembly instructions are similar to the bowden assembly docs. 60-61mm PTFE section used depending on your print tolerance, please measure yours before cutting your ptfe. The direct drive extruder has tight tolerances.

• Further optimise for less weight (Will be another version)
• Further weight distribution analysis around centre of mass (Centre of mass looks good).

These files have been tuned for my printer with tolerances ranging from 0.1mm to 0.4mm depending on the functionality needed.

The "CM" parts can be printed without but must be printed slowly as the overhangs might not come out nice otherwise. Can also be printed in other orientations and with s. Up to you.

Cable management prints need a brim.

Direct drive parts need s.

Print in PETG or higher temp material.

Hotend mount - strong (30 - 50%) infill
Part Cooling - Normal settings besides the "Fan Mount" - 20% infill.
Normal settings for other parts
Cable Management Back section - Strong/20% infill.

Use your own discretion based on your printing knowledge and printer.
