DIY YAGI ANTENNA. HIGH GAIN AND LONG RANGE. For LTE/4G and WIFI
Make a Single Band MIMO YAGI ANTENNA from Frequencies 700mhz to 2700mhz
Complete Instructions on how to build YAGI step by step with Pictures. Around 170mb of Files, Instructions + STL Files.
Before buying anything please do read or go through all the Instructions and References.
THINGS NEEDED:
1/2 Inch Aluminum Square Tube. 2x 1meter or depending on number of directors you will use which can be calculated by the provided app.
Copper wires 2meter length or Depending on Calculated RF on
the provided application.
(At 700mhz Band 28 LTE. I used 5mm diameter for folded dipole, aluminum 3.3mm diameter for ref and dir.
At 1800-2700mhz LTE and 2.440mhz WIFI. I used 1.6mm-2mm diameter for folded dipole, 1.6mm diameter for ref and dir.)
Nose Plier
Metal Drill bits 1pc or 2pcs all 1mm,1.5mm,2mm and 2.5mm.
Drill
Ruler or Measuring tape like GI measuring tape.
Mini Triangle Ruler.
Masking tape
Digital Caliper
M3x8 screw 100pcs.
Step Drill with 4-8mm diameters
GI Clamp
5mm Nuts and Bolts 4pcs 5x25mm,5x30mm or !! depends on the GI Clamp holes for the Bolts and nuts size.
Cable ties 1 pack 3x150mm
Cable Ties 1 pack 4x150mm
1 pack Sealant, Silicone or Similar( I used an all around Sealant)
50ohm Coaxial Cable 2x15meters or you preferred length.
(Note: I Reused an old 75ohm Coaxial TV Cable here (RG6U). This is usable though there will be a signal loss but its not that much maybe around 0.2db to 1db and the yagi design can compensate for that loss by having more Directors.)
Please do use a 50ohm Coaxial Cable if possible.

RF Connectors:
If you plan on using RG6 then you will need these:
1. 2pcs - F Type Female Jack to SMA Male Plug Straight Rf Coax Coaxial Connector Adapter
2. 2pcs - F Female Jack to F Female Jack Coupler
3. 6pcs - F Connector for RG6U
3D printer
Soldering iron with soldering lead
Windows computer
Common Sense (Optional)
Note: I mostly use this ANTENNA on WIFI dongle and a 4G
modem. If somehow I forgot some things, do message me or do improvise. I'll try to improve it later if necessary. Tested Weather Resistant esp Wind. Installed on top of a mountain for 4g internet and all good for almost a year now.
Most of my materials I used are recycled.
1. Salvaged an old electrical wiring which has a diameter of 1.6mm.
2. Recycled PET Bottle for 3D Printer Filament.
3. Salvaged an old TV Coaxial wire.
4. Salvaged lots of old M3x8 screws from electronic equipment's
like Printers.
Thank you.
