3D model description
Hello fish tank enthusiasts!
Today I present you this decoration for your fish tank, it is a shell that opens and closes with the use of any aquarium air pump. it has two modes of operation depending on the power of the air pump you use: with a high power pump the shell will open and will not close until the air pump is turned off, with a low power pump the shell will open, let the bubbles out and then close and repeat this cycle indefinitely. You can use an air flow regulator to get the desired effect. I included an additional so you can bury it in the substrate of your aquarium so the shell does not float.
I ed the files separately so you can print them in the color you like, it is important that you print the files as I ed them and do not change the position of any of them because this affects the finish and also affects the pieces do not fit well. Even if it consumes you more material in s do not change the position, I made several prototypes and tests on this model and this is the best result.
This design is for private use with registration and copyright you can not sell, give away, share the file or the printed model. you can not edit the files or imitate their operating mechanisms. If you want to legally sell my designs get a commercial license at this link: Patreon
Don't forget to leave your like on this and the other models, you help me a lot to keep creating.
3D printing settings
There are five files and below I will give you the recommendations for each one:
1: Bottom Cover
Material: PLA or PETG
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Filling: To avoid floating and being very fragile it should be 100%.
: Normal type, just touching the plate with a cantilever angle of 70° (Important: There should be no internal s obstructing the air ducts).
Adhesion: None.
2: Top Cover
Material: PLA or PETG
Layer height: 0.20 mm.
Filling: To avoid floating and being very fragile it should be 100%.
: Normal type, just touching the plate with a cantilever angle of 70°.
Adhesion: None.
3:

5: PEARL
Material: PLA or PETG
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Filling: To avoid floating and being very fragile it should be 100%.
: normal type, just touching the plate with a cantilever angle of 45°.
Adhesion: Balsa type.
In the model images are the detailed settings you should use.
All parts were designed to fit perfectly however sometimes tolerances change depending on the model and 3d printer configuration.
Remove all traces of s and seams for proper operation, use glue to fix the parts that should no longer move. If the cover does not open easily you will have to sand the necessary parts.
