Unmatched Board Game Character Cases (Cobble & Fog) SLEEVED

I have released a v2 of each case. I have taken from my many ers and modified the cases to make them more consistent and easier to print. Additionally, I have two new tools that help keep the magnets in the correct place. You can find them here.

DESCRIPTION

This is the second set of an organization and storage solution for the Unmatched board game series. To see a short demo, click here. These designs cover the characters found in the Cobble & Fog set. It is designed for sleeved cards. If you want the unsleeved versions, please follow the links below. I will be creating cases for new expansions as they are released, and links for them will be added once the designs are complete.

Each character from the game has its own storage box measuring 109 × 95 × 35.5 mm. The box is comprised of two pieces: a top that stores the deck and a bottom that holds the character's mini, sidekick tokens, health counters, and special pieces. Thus, each case is designed to contain all of the pieces for its respective character. When a release has additional game pieces (e.g., doors, combat tokens, scheme tokens, etc.), they are stored in the case of one of the characters of that release. That case is then marked with the versatile card icon, so you can easily find the additional game pieces.

Eight character cases fit into a large-sized (4-character) box, allowing significant space saving. In addition, each case can stand alone, allowing you to store your characters as desired or for easy on-the-go transportation. The fighter minis snap into place in each case. The rest of the game pieces are kept snugly, ensuring no additional wear and tear to tokens and cards from the case itself.

Every case can use two separate colors: one for the top and another for the bottom. This allows you to mix and match colors and make each character's storage solution unique. Both the top and the bottom pieces have two spaces that fit a 10 × 4 × 2 mm magnet in them. This allows the case to snap shut and stay together. The magnets can be inserted into the case by pausing the print at Layer 115–116 (for the top piece) and Layer 375–376 (for the bottom) when using a 0.2 mm layer height. They are not required, but they are a huge quality of life improvement. The magnets I used were purchased from Amazon. Any similar-sized magnet should work.

These models take a significant amount of time to print, especially if you want to print all 60+ cases. But, if you want an elegant and space-saving solution to store your Unmatched characters, there is no better option.

Ideal if printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layer height. Thin walls should also be enabled, so that your slicer will print thicknesses of 1.5 mm as four lines, not three. The rest of the settings should not impact print quality.

The top pieces will have to be rotated 90 degrees. No s are needed for any of these prints.
