==Overview:==
The Geronimo was originally designed from the onset as a high speed special warfare for Word of Blake Manei Domini divisions. But the Jihad ended before the diminutive dropship could enter service. Instead, The Republic of the Sphere bought the lions share of the contract. Other purchasers included the Draconis Elite Strike Teams, Capellan Death Commandos, and other special operations units.

==Capabilities:==
The Geronimo is built around a mammoth GM 2250 fusion plant; giving it an acceleration curve near that of some medium Aerospace fighters. Indeed, much of the research and development went into specially reinforcing the vessels structure to resist the incredible stress from such Delta V. The dropship is equipped with a pair of twin large variable speed pulse laser turrets for and aft.

Such paltry armament is made up for with both its inherent raw thrust and twenty three tons of light Ferro-Aluminum armor. This makes the light dropship quite survivable as long as it stays out of direct combat as developed. The transport compartments include a pair of battle armor bays outfitted to house six suits each. Designed for Blakist armored troop organizations, this allows for three squads of four armored troopers each. A third bay is configured with seating and stowage for a full platoon of jump infantry, though the space can also service boarding marines in EVA suits. The last transport space s outfitted as Mobile Army Surgical bay for expedient emergency medical treatment during extraction missions.

==Variants:==
There was a rumor of a planetary bomber variant in development, but considering the current political environment, it`s more likely this is an old story from when this was still a Word of Blake. The only know variants are field refits that swap out the various transport compartments.
