3D model description

Alright my friends the time is here. Its that time to get to printing this voyager sized transforming action figure. All parts were printed using PETG filament and is a requirement due to small holes and friction ts involved with this project. All parts were assembled using 1mm paperclips and the screw set mentioned below. Be advised without either one you cannot proceed to assembly unless you make the holes bigger or increase the size on this model. Model is very durable and can be posed in many different ways. Hope you guys like it. Enjoy!

what you will need for this project:

  1. Hobby knife: some parts print different on certain printers and leave edges smooshed or mushroomed especially on small pieces. I had to use my hobby knife plenty of times to trim down edges to get them to fit or insert into other parts.

  2. 1mm paperclips

  3. screws: HanTof 750pcs M1.4/M1.6/M2/M2.5/M3 Phillips Pan Head Small Machine Screws,Tiny Screw,Micro Little Screws,Mini Screw Assortment Kit for Watch,Toy,Electronic Equipment Repair,Nickel-Plated Carbon Steel

  4. drill bit: home depot or any hardware or hobby store, it is a 1/32" black oxide drill bit used in case your printer fills in the gaps on the paperclip pin holes

  5. (optional) wood burning tool: preferably a good one from amazon, you can get one from harbor freight but itll last you about a month. this is for welding where super glue cannot put things together

  6. smaller chuck for drill bit holder: this you can also get off of amazon
