Hey I am trying to make my own with the bits provided but am struggling to do so the torso and pauldrons are in a different scale to the rest of the bits, could be more that those two but those are the only ones I have encountered so far. And how do you recommend we put these together as I am struggling to get them working in blender?
I'll check the file again for scaling errors, but those are easy to remedy using the scale tools.
I would definitely advise against using blender for that. Using programs like meshmixer or even doing it in your slicer will be much easier to use.
As for the best way to put them together, fitting the parts onto each other with some slight overlap is all that is needed. If you have chosen a pose that leaves a gap you can use the primitives of your slicer or software (like a cylinder) like glue or green stuff to secure the parts. Alternatively you could extrude poygons or use elastic deform in blender, but you would have to use sculpting tools to smooth over the warped portions. If that doesn't work, remeshing first might be necessary.
Hope that helps!
that does help a lot, I appreciate it and for the scaling I just figured you would might know the exact factor instead of me just guessing to the best of my ability
