Recommended 3D Printing Settings
To ensure the best quality and durability for your AK Side Mount, follow these recommended 3D printing settings:
Printer Type: FDM/FFF
Material:
PLA+: For casual use and display.
PETG or ABS: For improved durability and resistance to heat or impact during intense gameplay.
Layer Height: 0.2 mm (recommended) for a good balance between detail and strength.
Infill:
30%-50%: For structural integrity and durability.
Use a grid or cubic pattern for optimal strength.
Walls/Perimeters:
3-4 walls to reinforce side strength.
Top/Bottom Layers:
4-6 layers for a solid surface finish.
Print Orientation:
Position the mount so that the rails are horizontal to minimize structures and maximize strength.

Enable s for overhanging areas, especially under the Picatinny rails and attachment points.
Build Plate Adhesion:
Use a brim or raft if printing with materials prone to warping (e.g., ABS).
