The Simracing BB Pro - CB1 SD2 is a high-performance button box enclosure designed for simracing enthusiasts who want a powerful, customizable setup. This 3D-printable case combines the internals of a commercial button box with the flexibility of a 15-key Stream Deck.
🧩 Compatible with Commercial Hardware:
Designed to house the internals of the PXN CB1 (a popular budget button box you can find in Aliexpress for less than 60€).
Integrates a Stream Deck MK2 (15 keys) into the front , ideal for quick access to functions, macros, or sim racing software.
🔧 Easy Assembly:
Simply remove the original PXN CB1 housing.
The internal board fits seamlessly into this custom-designed 3D enclosure.
Optional front plate for added customization or extra components.
✨ Touch – Carbon Fiber Front Plate:
The front plate shown in the example build is made from 0.5 mm real carbon fiber, purchased from Aliexpress. This adds a high-end look and feel to the box, while maintaining rigidity and lightness. You can also print your own version if preferred or not using this optional part.

🧩 Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Disassemble the PXN CB1
Open the PXN CB1 by removing the screws from its plastic shell.
Carefully extract the internal PCB and button module.
Set aside the original case — it will not be reused.
2. 3D Print All Enclosure Components
Print all parts using PLA, PETG, or any sturdy filament.
Orientation is important to avoid warping.
Ensure precise tolerances for the Stream Deck clamp and button holes.
3. Mount the PXN CB1 PCB
Place the PXN CB1 PCB into the Box Base, aligning the board holes with the Box Base s.
Secure the board with the PXN CB1 original screws.
4. Install the Stream Deck MK2
Remove the detachable stand from the Stream Deck MK2.
Insert the device into the Box Base.
Fit the Stream Deck MK2 Clamp into the Box Base part using 4 units M4x16 Screws.
5. Assemble the Button Box
Stack the enclosure in the following order:
Box Base (with internals inside)
Optional Front Plate (carbon fiber or 3D printed)
Top Frame (Using 6 units M4x16 Screws)
Back Cover (Using 6 units M4x16 Screws). to the cables through the holes before screwing.
6. Customize the Back Cover (Optional)
The Back Cover is intentionally blank to allow custom mounting options.
You can drill holes as needed to attach the unit to your sim rig, desk, or custom bracket.
This flexibility allows you to tailor the mounting to your specific setup.
7. Final Checks
Connect both USB cables (PXN and Stream Deck) to your PC.
Confirm that all buttons respond correctly and that the Stream Deck is detected.
Optionally add internal padding or cable routing for neatness.
