- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Hi
I've purchased and printed these but am having issues with the connections snapping as soon as I try and connect the peices.
Can you advise what material you used and it seems that standard PLA is not strong enough.
I printed them using the settings specifieid in the file and did not change anything other than using a brim to ensure they do not warp.
hi, the files were meant for resin printers. for my own i used ABS-like resin.
to be honest, i never thought about printing them with a fdm printer.
but that's no big issue.
i will fix this and include a version meant for fdm with larger connection points.
Oh perfect, appreciate you sorting that out so quickly :)
I will print them again with an updated file and report back.
ok, i added the new files. let me know if these work better on fdm. i only have resin printers and can't test print them on my own.
Re-printed and the same thing has happened unfortunately, I think either the connectors need to be slightly smaller, the hole needs to be slightly larger or the flange needs to be slightly thinner.
The connectors are snapping at the base at the same point on each attempt.
thanks for the . i changed the connections again.
