You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Ok so that roof skid Idont get how that is an upgrade seems like the design is a down grade compared to stock. Needs to be thicker and counter sunk screw holes?!?!?! Big disappointment :( ! Need a redesign FAST!
Ok, that's your opinion. Do you think everything is catered to you? The Roof Skid was a rough draft. Something I put in for FREE! I do have a version with counter sunk holes. But it's not going to be much thicker. I try and make things light! Something heavy on the top isn't a good idea. This is also a part that's meant to be changed every so often, like any skid is.
I will work on it on my time when I can. Not a good comment to tell someone to "Redesign Fast" especially when the roof skid and other things I'll be adding are FREE, until I get more in there and up the cost. Please don't continue to post begging for me to suit your needs!
More then happy to pay extra for a roof skid that is a better design. You are not the only one that did not counter sink the screws. Was not trying to be an a$$. Just was exited for a new roof skid. And when I printed the one that is up, it to me seemed to be anemic in robustness and screw protection. I do give you credit as I am new to printing and understand the work that goes into a design.
No worries man. I've just been super sick. Give me a few days and I'll update them with counter sunk screws. Totally went over my head. I was making more stuff, just been sick along with my 2 year old being sick. Not been a good few weeks.
