3D printer file info

3D model description

This model is inspirated to italian mining truck DP705. The build is very simple, and hardware needed is minimum :

2 motors JGB37-3530, 2 ESC, 2 actuators, 2 ball bearing 608, 4 ball bearing 4x9x4, some screws, LED and wires.

In the file there is a list with all the necessary material and the links for the product.

The dimensions of the model are: 45x25x21cm (the numbers are approximated).

I printed the model on a printer with 250x250 bed (kobra). is possible to print in a smaller bed , after splitting pieces nยฐ32, 34,37,38,39,40 and using a connector normally used in any slicer software.
Runs on a 3S lipo battery.

You need:

ST = self tapping

STCS = self tapping counter sunk

M3-M4 hex screw+lock nuts

threaded rod M3-M4-M5 + lock nuts

The color of the original project is red,white and black. I printed the model with white filament and black filament for some detail; the red parts are painted.

The LED lights are connected with a simple RC switch with the on-off function.

The sound module that I installed is a basic module with engine sound but if you want to use a better and more realistic module you are free to do it.

In the future I will publish some upgrades to the project (realistic deatail and frontal suspension sistem).

I also put on the archive the tire model to print on TPU+tire mold for auto-production using liquid silicone or liquid urethane (like SINTAGOM Prochima).
