Hey brother, I'm assembling this right now and I'm wondering if the spur gear is intended to be a differential or just a solid axle? If so, are you intending the to place balls inside the gear between the shims?
yes it is a differential you can put a 1/8 inch steel ball between the two. i just added a picture of how it should be
