You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
- ADVERTISING: Disable your ad blocker.
- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi 💜.
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Some letters are missing on small verison of token lid. It is supposed be like this?
They all print fine for me and others, did you run the auto repair for any facet issues your slicer might be having on any files? That's the only reason I can think of related to the files that would cause a part not to print. If that isn't it please let me know and we can connect, happy to try to help you figure it out.
When i apply color to letters everything looks ok, however later on some letters are missing. https://ibb.co/V0fLFSbs Maybe i am doing something wrong. I didnt have problem like this with all 4 parts of bottom plate for monster.
I'm sure it's a repair faceting issue. When I ed the logo file and imported to my slicer it showed repair needed. Exactly the letters missing in your pic were colored in my slicer as problems, so if I had just hit print they would get left behind. Running the built in repair fixed them.
I exported my repaired stl file and applied it against the lid to make sure the deboss matches the inlay perfectly against the repaired file, then replaced both of them in the , feel free to the new set and try again. The new files are the token box lid and the token lid logo, in both the main set and the small set zip file.
You might still have to do repair though, because I've printed these multiple times from my files before without needing to run repair. Something about ing and ing the stl here is introducing the issue, which is pretty odd. Look at the file in the list in your slicer. Does it have an exclamation mark with it that tells you to repair if you mouseover it? That's how prusaslicer displays it, google that and look for the equivalent in whatever slicer software you use is where I would start.
Bambu lab doesn't show any repair info or i didnt see it anyway thx for fixing files - now everything is fine. Big THX.
