Would you like to Cults?
You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
- ADVERTISING: Disable your ad blocker.
- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi π.
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
No s? That seems misleading. This does not print well with no s, there are huge completely uned areas that print out into the air and turn around and come back without having connected to anything. The bridge in the middle also makes corners in unable places.
The model is rather large and has very thin walls, so don't expect to able to scale it down to print several at once as gifts. It's too weak and breaks too easily. Not good for kids.
Dear Maker, we are very sad to hear such a bad experience from you.
We always seek to provide a feeling of relief and gratitude to our customers on Cults3d, patrons on Patreon and other partners outside these two platforms.
This design is a variation of our reversible octopus made especially for Halloween, which has already been printed dozens of times by our partners.
The parts printed "in air" were designed to make the most of the bridging technique, where very short horizontal bridges can be printed with just one instead of two.
If you had difficulty printing this file on your printer, we suggest calibrating the following three factors that may be affecting the quality of your creations:
1) Filament temperature;
2) Printing speed;
3) Filament retraction time.
If it is not possible to improve these factors, it is possible to print the file using s, as long as blockers are added to each t of the octopus so that its movements are not reduced. The blockers can be set in any slicer of your choice.
Finally, regarding the possibility of increasing or decreasing the file size, not all prints are capable of being scaled to large proportions. This toy was designed to be the size of the palm of a hand and has been well-liked by children, especially as a spinning toy.
We will always be available to help you with whatever you need. I hope these tips improve your experience with our product and open doors for future designs of our portfolio.
Regarding the sharing of the 3d prints, we always emphasize that the licenses for our creations on Cults3d are for personal use only, and we cordially ask that you subscribe to our Patreon for other applications. The more Patreons we have, the better will become our designs, variations and also the quantity delivered per month.
